It took awhile for me to get back into the studio as I mentioned before. How I solved the problem was by starting small tasks. I would gesso, or draw my idea on a small canvas, but I wouldn't paint. Then the next step I would do a wash over the image, then the next day, paint the sides. Finally I worked on the image, where the real painting begins. I got frustrated a lot but finally was able to complete two small wood placques, have a third almost done-(the Moon) and have some waiting in the wings as you can see. My goal is to have ten miniature paintings up in my ETSY shop by the end of this month; okay by early May.
