I spent this morning re-working an aceo I did about four years ago. I wasn't pleased with the color choices I made back then, too dark, too pink, not pleasing. I am pleased with my re-work job of This Little Piggy had Cabernet. As I worked, I found I was simplifying my brushstrokes leading to a more painterly way of laying down color. And I feel the colours are more "wine-ish" in feel.
